    on the bolex 660 super 8mm camera, there is a connector at the base of the camera on the left side which is labelled "rem". Is this the outlet for a sync pulse? If so, does anybody know where I can get a cable for it?

    Sorry, that little port is for a remote control switch that will able you to film a few feet away from the camera. Sometimes its even a single frame switch.
